Pre-Op Visit

During this visit, a thorough medical history will be reviewed, and your vital signs will be checked to confirm you are medically fit for surgery. The Fat Grafting Procedure

Fat grafting is typically performed on an outpatient basis under general anesthesia, IV sedation, or regional nerve blocks. Local anesthesia alone is not preferred, as it can distort the tissues being treated and affect precision during injection.

The process begins with harvesting fat from a donor site such as the abdomen, flanks, or thighs using gentle liposuction. The collected fat is then purified to remove any non-viable tissue.
