Elos Plus Laser Treatments
Sublative
Sublative laser treatments are used to enhance skin tone and texture by targeting mild to moderate wrinkles, scars, and surface irregularities. This technology uses radio-frequency energy delivered in a matrix pattern to penetrate the skin. The surrounding healthy tissue promotes faster healing and collagen regeneration. After the session, it is common to experience mild redness or a pink sunburn-like appearance.
Sublime
Sublime is a non-invasive laser treatment ideal for skin tightening and contouring. By stimulating collagen production, Sublime improves the quality and elasticity of skin in areas commonly affected by aging, such as around the eyes, jawline, cheeks, and neck. This procedure requires no downtime, making it perfect for patients with busy lifestyles.
SRA
The SRA laser targets pigmentation issues, including sunspots, age spots, and rosacea. The treatment works gradually to improve overall skin tone and reduce discoloration. A series of treatments is often recommended for optimal results.
Laser Treatments
VirtueRF
VirtueRF Microneedling is one of the most advanced RF microneedling systems available today. It combines microneedling with radio-frequency energy to firm skin, smooth texture, and reduce fine lines. This device features three handpieces, allowing providers to precisely customize treatments based on the area, skin type, and desired depth.
The microneedles create microchannels that stimulate collagen while delivering heat energy into deeper layers of skin. This combination remodels existing collagen and elastin, resulting in tighter, lifted, and rejuvenated skin.
- Exact RF Perfect for small or delicate areas like the eyes, mouth, or jawline requiring precision.
- Smart RF Designed for facial rejuvenation, targeting fine lines on the face, neck, and décolleté.
- Deep RF Used for body areas including the abdomen, thighs, arms, and glutes to tighten and firm larger treatment zones.
KTP Laser
The KTP laser treatment in Berlin, MD is an advanced option for addressing visible vascular lesions, sun damage, and seborrheic keratosis. This technology works by delivering a precise wavelength of 532 nanometers, which is selectively absorbed by pigmented areas in the skin. Darker spots absorb more of the laser’s energy, allowing for accurate targeting of unwanted pigmentation and vascular irregularities while leaving the surrounding tissue unharmed. This makes KTP laser therapy a safe and effective solution for patients seeking clearer, healthier-looking skin on the Eastern Shore.
Laser Hair Removal
Laser hair removal uses light-based energy to target and damage hair follicles, reducing or eliminating future hair growth. The laser light is absorbed by melanin (pigment) in the hair, converting to heat and disabling the follicle. Multiple sessions, typically 6 to 8, are required for full results, with occasional touch-ups recommended. This treatment is safe, effective, and works on various parts of the body.
CoolPeel
CoolPeel is ideal for light skin resurfacing with minimal to no downtime. It reduces fine lines, improves texture, and addresses mild pigmentation issues. Treatment areas include the face, neck, hands, and décolleté. A series of three treatments is usually recommended to achieve noticeable results.
CO2 Laser
The CO2 laser is a powerful tool for advanced skin rejuvenation. It can be used on the full face or targeted areas such as around the eyes or mouth. This ablative laser works by vaporizing the top layer of skin to eliminate superficial imperfections and stimulate collagen production deep within the dermis. A 6 to 8 week skin preparation period is required before treatment.
CO2 Laser
Carbon Dioxide (CO2) Laser Resurfacing is highly effective at diminishing deep facial wrinkles, sun damage, acne scars, and stretch marks. The laser removes the top layers of skin, triggering the body’s natural healing response. New epithelial cells form, and fibroblasts generate fresh collagen, which continues to mature over several months. The result is smoother, tighter, and more youthful-looking skin.

Pre-Op Visit + Preparation
Your pre-op visit covers everything needed to prepare for your CO2 laser treatment. One of our trained medical assistants will take clinical photos. Your provider will review expectations, explain the procedure, and discuss possible risks. A full medical history will be taken, and your vitals will be checked. You will also receive your complete skincare prep kit, which must be used for 4 to 6 weeks prior to your treatment. Consents are signed, and final payment is due at this appointment.
The Process
Patients arrive about one hour before treatment for the application of a topical numbing cream. Once the area is numb, the CO2 laser procedure takes approximately 30 to 60 minutes, depending on the number of treatment zones. Dressings are not typically required. Redness may last 3 to 8 weeks depending on treatment depth, and swelling usually peaks around days 2 or 3. Once peeling ends, mineral makeup may be used. Skin texture and tone continue to improve over several months.
Post-Op Recovery
After your CO2 laser treatment, mild to moderate swelling may occur for 3 to 4 days. The treated skin may darken temporarily as part of the healing process. You will be given detailed home care instructions to keep the skin clean and promote healing. Most patients heal within 2 to 3 weeks, depending on the depth of the treatment. Makeup can be worn after the skin stops peeling, and you’ll have several follow-ups with your provider. Full results can be evaluated within 3 to 6 months.
The suitability of each laser procedure is determined during your in-office consultation. Patients should avoid sun exposure or tanning for at least 2 weeks before treatment. All procedures carry some risk. While minor side effects are possible, serious complications are rare.
