Microneedling or collagen induction therapy (CIT), is a minimally invasive treatment to rejuvenate the skin. A device with fine needles creates numerous tiny punctures or micro-wounds in the top layers of the skin. This triggers the body’s natural wound healing processes, which include the creation of new collagen and elastin. Results can include improved tone, texture and firmness of the skin, as well as a reduction in the appearance of acne or surgical scars, pore size and stretch marks.
We also employ microneedling to regrow hair following hair loss or androgenic alopecia. We can combined micro needling with a topical agent, like PRP (platelet rich plasma) or a vitamin-rich serum, to produce results even more impressive.
Microneedling is safe on all skin types.
A series of treatments of required for best results. Three to six treatments are usually recommended for optimal results. Treatments are usually spaced six weeks apart. You will begin to notice results as early as two weeks.
