Microdermabrasion
Microdermabrasion is a non-invasive, non-surgical procedure used to revitalize and rejuvenate the skin. It is a highly effective, clinically proven technique for treating fine lines, scars, age spots and stretch marks. Microdermabrasion also regenerates the epidermal cellular structures, resulting in an increase in the skin's elasticity. Generally, six treatments, one performed every week, are recommended, and normal activities can be resumed immediately. After just one treatment, skin glows, skin tone and texture are improved, and skin appears smoother, firmer, more uniform and translucent.
Chemical Peels
Chemical Peel involves the application of one or more specialized liquids onto the skin to improve its texture and color. These liquids consist of mixtures of organic acids. Chemical peels remove layers of the epidermis which contain dead and sun damaged skin cells. Following are the normal processes of wound healing which produce skin with improve quality, texture, color and elasticity. As the skin regenerates, there also is a reduction in fine wrinkling. Manual Lymphatic Drainage
Manual lymphatic drainage is a procedure in which the lymphatic circulation is stimulated with slow circular and careful pumping massage movements about the face and neck. It is advised that two weeks prior to surgery, manual lymph drainage is performed two times a week for two weeks. Patents may heal faster and experience less scarring, redness and bruising. Additionally, one week post-surgery, manual lymph drainage can be performed to reduce swelling and aid in healing.
